I was reading last night how devastating it can be if we live our lives by complaining, criticising are condemning ourselves or others.
On our journey to success we often have to deal with many different types of people. And this is a fundamental principle for us to follow.
When dealing with people let us remember we are not dealing with creatures of logic. We are dealing with creatures of emotion, creatures bristling with prejudices and motivated by pride and vanity. – Dale Carnegie
What this means is that ninety-nine times out of a hundred, people don’t criticise themselves for anything no matter how wrong it may be.
So criticism is futile because it puts a person on the defensive and usually makes him strive to justify himself. Criticism is dangerous, because it wounds a persons precious pride, hurts his sense of importance and arouses resentment.
We may know several persons that we want to change regulate or improve but it is best to begin with ourselves. As it is far more profitable and a lot let dangerous.
So as we go through our daily lives and find case that would cause us to complain, criticise or condemn lets not.
